Woodsedge Bed & Breakfast

At Woodsedge we have one double room and one twin room both en-suite and with colour TV's and tea making facilities. Both rooms have extensive views of the surrounding countryside and our garden where guests are invited to sit on warm summer evenings. Guests have free access to rooms and to the dining / sitting room for reading and writing. Our breakfast consists of local sources of organic or free range ingredients, local honey and home-made preserves. Vegetarian options are always available.

Woodsedge is situated in a quiet village on the southwest side of Truro and is a wonderfully versatile base for touring Cornwall and its many beauty spots and National Trust Gardens in the area. There are many picturesque creeks nearby with Trelissick Gardens and the King Harry Ferry only two miles away giving access to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. Falmouth which is seven miles away offers passenger ferries to St Mawes, Trelissick Gardens and the Maritime Museum. Other attractions include The Tate St Ives, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trebah Gardens Trust, St Michael's Mount, Gweek Seal Sanctuary and Geevor Tin Mine which amongst others is a World Heritage Site.

The area offers many opportunities for walking and cycling. Bikes can be hired nearby on the Devoran to Portreath Mineral cycle route which is part of the Cornish Way. At Stithians Reservoir it is possible to windsurf or sail and there are many creeks, beaches, and woodland and country walks all within easy reach.
